SFM Newsletter June 12th

Hello Sebastopol!!  Get ready for another gorgeous Sunday at the Sebastopol Farmers Market.  Hope you are surviving the hot weather after last week’s surprise rains.  It’s been a doozie!!

 

The fun continues this week with local favorite keyboardist, Jack Grant taking the stage!!

Next week get ready for Carlo Fuentes, keyboardist from Black Sheep back for a special Fathers’ Day treat.

 

For all of you who have been asking.. Peach Jamboree will be joining us for a surprise visit this Sunday!! Bringing organic stone fruit from Oroville.  Catch them while you can.  And, YES!! Oyster Creek will be back with wild foraged mushrooms!!

 

Bring your favorite garden and kitchen tools.. Edgeworks will be streetside.. Now at the market each and every Sunday for all of your sharpening needs.

It’s never too late to plant a garden.  Got questions?  Master Gardeners are at the market every Sunday!

 

It’s time for a pasta fresca!! Find the veggies you need plus, local pasta and cheese all at the Market!!  This week’s veggies include..  squashes, spring garlic, spinach,  arugula, lettuces, microgreens, tot soi, bok choy, mustard greens, kales, collards, swiss chard, napa and other cabbages, salad radishes, cucumber, turnips, carrots, beets,  leeks, potatoes, mushrooms, broccolis, cauliflowers, red onions, winter squashes,  herbs and so much more…

 

Don’t forget the flowers!!

 

It’s stone fruit season!! Nothing like fresh picked, straight from the farm.. peaches, apricots and nectarines too!!  Plenty of local organic strawberries!  And, yes!!  Dates!!

 

Enjoy farmer inspired products like organic nut butters, almonds and walnuts.  You will also find meats, eggs, cheeses, olive oil, wines, vinegar, dried fruits, olives, honey, herbal teas, jams, hot sauces and pesto, breads, pastries and other homemade treats are just some of what you will find at the market.
