SFM Newsletter February 13th

With love and deep appreciation of this farmers market community, we ask you to join us at the Sebastopol Farmers Market this Sunday for a special Valentine’s celebration.  We are honored to serve this amazing community and are humbled by your dedication to shop the market in support of local sustainable farmers this and every Sunday.  Together and with a lot of love, we can do anything.  Look for other special events coming to the market this year.


On stage this Sunday, please welcome local favorite, EMK!! Playing Blues Americana.


Looking for that special something for your sweetie?  Find lots of one of a kind gift ideas in the plaza where your favorite local craft vendors have special valentines treats just for you. And for you food centric beings, we have tempting treats from local food vendors. Or maybe bring a friend or the family and have brunch while you listen to music.


Make sure to bring your favorite kitchen and gardening tools to the market this Sunday.  Edgeworks will be back streetside for all of your sharpening needs.


Also back this week.. Olivino Terra Savia will have organic olive oils and wines.  And Mi Fiesta Mexican cuisine to go!  :)


Dear CalFresh Customers!  We continue to offer a match of up to $15 to spend on local fruits and vegetables!! $15 will get you $30. Thank you for your dedication and support of local farmers!!


Got a little spring fever?  It’s never too late or too early to start a garden.  There are plenty of  veggie and herb starts and lots of advice available for your winter gardening.


Thinking about making dinner for a friend?  We have everything you need for mouthwatering  seasonal dishes including.. lettuces, microgreens, spinach, tot soi, bok choy, mustard greens, kales, collards, swiss chard, napa and other cabbages, salad radishes, turnips, carrots, beets,  leeks, potatoes, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, broccolis, cauliflowers, red onions, winter squashes,  herbs and so much more… Nothing says you care like fresh locally grown veggies!!


Citrus Season is upon us with a beautiful array of tangerines, mandarins, grapefruits, oro blanco, navel and cara cara oranges, blood oranges, lemons and limes.


Enjoy farmer inspired products like organic nut butters, almonds and walnuts.  You will also find meats, cheeses, olive oil, wines, vinegar, dried fruits, olives, honey, herbal teas, jams, hot sauces and pesto, breads, pastries and other homemade treats are just some of what you will find at the market.  A New Crop of organic almonds and walnuts are here!!
