Hello and Welcome to the second Sunday Farmers Market of 2022!!  It looks like we’re in for sunny weather as we continue to celebrate the new year!   Marcos Pereda will be taking the stage playing beautiful Cuban folk music.  Take time out from your busy week to enjoy the offerings of our amazing local food and craft vendors.

 

Feeling guilty about your new year resolution?  Start by promising yourself the healthiest year ever with the best most amazing local fruits and veggies on the planet.   Get in the groove.. it’s easy, surprisingly addictive and so incredibly delicious!

 

This week look for Dominique’s Sweets and Olivino Organic Olive Oil and Terra Savia Organic Wines returning to the market this Sunday!

 

Greetings to all of our CalFresh Customers!  We continue to offer a match of up to $15 to spend on local fruits and vegetables!! $15 will get you $30. Yes!  Plus, if you haven’t received a special meat, egg and dairy voucher booklet yet, we will have those available at the info booth.  One per CalFresh customer please.   We really appreciate your dedication and support of local farmers!!

 

It’s never too late or too early to start a garden.  There are plenty of  veggie and herb starts and lots of advice available for your winter gardening.

 

Welcome  back all of our amazing farmers selling the best locally grown fresh harvested produce on the planet including .. lettuces, microgreens, spinach, tot soi, bok choy, mustard greens, kales, collards, swiss chard, napa and other cabbages, salad radishes, turnips, carrots, beets,  leeks, potatoes, mushrooms, broccolis, cauliflowers, red onions, garlic, winter squashes,  herbs and so much more…

 

It’s Citrus Season with plenty of tangerines, mandarins, grapefruits, oro blanco, cara cara oranges, lemons , limes and the most amazing persimmons.  And yes!  It’s date week too!

 

Look for farmer inspired products like organic nut butters, almonds and walnuts.  You will also find meats, cheeses, olive oil, wines, vinegar, dried fruits, olives, honey, herbal teas, jams, hot sauces and pesto, breads, pastries and other homemade treats are just some of what you will find at the market.  A New Crop of organic almonds and walnuts are here!!
