Dear Sebastopol Farmers Market Community.  We hope this finds you all well and happy after a weekend of holiday feasting!   Food might not be at the front of your brain right now but, maybe a good green cleanse is in order.  We have everything you need for that incredible green smoothie!  Not quite ready for that?  Tired of left over turkey?   Why not go for something fresh.  Lots of amazing local fruits and vegetables at the market this Sunday!

 

For all of you bakers out there.. the Mendocino Grain Collaborative will have newly harvested grains and freshly ground flours for all of your holiday baking needs.  Baking not your thing?  Marla Bakery will be doing a pop up at the market this Sunday while Revolution Bread and Dominique’s Pastries take a weekend off.

 

Get ready for another amazing music event.. At the market this Sunday, Cumbia takes the stage playing Peruvian folk music  We are very excited to have them back!

 

Are you having an attack of the supply chain blues?  Now more than ever, this is the time to think local!!  Shop the market for that one of a kind special something for that special someone.  Plenty of ideas for holiday baskets and care packages!!

 

At the market this week Radical Family Farms will be back and Ramini Buffalo Cheese too!! Be sure to explore the entire market for special surprises and holiday treats!

 

Greetings to all of our CalFresh Customers!  We continue to offer a match of up to $15 to spend on local fruits and vegetables!! $15 will get you $30. Yes!    If you haven’t received a special meat, egg and dairy voucher booklet yet, we will have those available at the info booth.  One per CalFresh customer please.   We really appreciate your dedication and support of local farmers!!

 

Yes!  There are still veggie and herb starts and lots of advice available for your winter gardening.

 

Your favorite locally produced vegetables are still available including late harvest sweet and hot peppers and tomatoes not to mention.. lettuces, microgreens, spinach, tot soi, bok choy, mustard greens, kales, collards, swiss chard, napa and other cabbages, salad radishes, turnips, carrots, beets,  leeks, potatoes, mushrooms, broccolis, cauliflowers, green beans, fava beans, red onions, garlic, winter squashes, eggplants, herbs and so much more…

 

Twin Peaks is back with their famous organic tangerines, lemons and the most amazing persimmons.  There’s still some time to enjoy grapes, pears and apples as citrus season begins! And, Yes!  Dates too!!

 

Look for farmer inspired products like organic nut butters, almonds and walnuts.  You will also find meats, cheeses, olive oil, wines, vinegar, dried fruits, olives, honey, herbal teas, jams, hot sauces and pesto, breads, pastries and other homemade treats are just some of what you will find at the market.  A New Crop of organic almonds and walnuts are here!!
