Hello Sebastopol Farmers Market Friends! As we gear up for the holidays, you won’t want to miss a single market! Starting this Sunday, Black Sheep brass band will be at the market to kick off a month of local bands sure to chase the winter time blues, put a little boogie in your step and get you into that community spirit and the up and coming holiday groove!
To all of our CalFresh Customers.. we are now matching up to $15 for you to spend on local fruits and vegetables!! That’s right.. $15 will get you $30. Also, make sure to fill out a raffle ticket when you are at the info booth for the Heritage Turkey Dinner give away! You have 2 more chances to win! Winner to be announced at the end of the market on November 14th!! We really appreciate your dedication to supporting local farmers!
At the market this week Bodega Pastures will be back representing the local Fiber Shed. Also look for Twin Peaks, Armstrong Valley Farm and Earthworker! Maybe Red H too.. fingers crossed
Remember to bring your favorite kitchen and gardening tools.. Edgeworks is back streetside!!
Yes! There are still plant starts available for consideration as you transition to a winter garden.
With the cooler weather comes amazing greens and lots of your favorite locally produced vegetables including late harvest sweet and hot peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes not to mention.. lettuces, microgreens, spinach, tot soi, bok choy, mustard greens, kales, collards, swiss chard, napa and other cabbages, salad radishes, turnips, carrots, beets, leeks, potatoes, mushrooms, broccolis, cauliflowers, green beans, red onions, garlic, summer and winter squashes, eggplants, herbs and so much more…Stuff a roasted pumpkin with chili and bake for another few minutes for an extra special fall treat! All ingredients available here from farmers!
Twin Peaks is back with organic tangerines and persimmons. There’s still some time to enjoy grapes, figs, pears and apples as we ring in citrus season!! Dried fruits also available.
Look for farmer inspired products like organic nut butters, almonds and walnuts. You will also find meats, cheeses, olive oil, wines, vinegar, dried fruits, olives, honey, herbal teas, jams, hot sauces and pesto, breads, pastries and other homemade treats are just some of what you will find at the market. The New Crop of Organic Almonds is here!!
