Welcome back Everyone!! After last week’s epic rain event, we are so happy to see all of your bright shiny faces back at the market this Sunday. We missed you! Join us for a special Halloween Celebration with Redwood Highway Ramblers on stage to help you boogie on through the market. PS, it’s not supposed to rain again until Monday :)
To all of our CalFresh Customers.. we are now matching up to $15 for you to spend on fruits and vegetables!! That’s right.. $15 will get you $30. Also, make sure to fill out a raffle ticket when you are at the info booth for the Heritage Turkey Dinner give away! Winner to be announced at the end of the market on November 14th!! We really appreciate your using you snap dollars to shop with us and for keeping it local!!
At the market this week Bodega Pastures will be back representing the local Fiber Shed and also the Bodega quilt project and benefit. And look for Twin Peaks back with organic fruit offerings!
Yes! There are still plant starts available for consideration as you transition to a winter garden.
Despite the heavy rainfall.. there are still plenty of locally produced favorites including sweet and hot peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes not to mention.. lettuces, microgreens, spinach, tot soi, bok choy, mustard greens, kales, collards, swiss chard, napa and other cabbages, salad radishes, turnips, carrots, beets, leeks, potatoes, mushrooms, broccolis, cauliflowers, green beans, red onions, garlic, summer and winter squashes, eggplants, herbs and so much more…
It’s not too late to buy a holiday pumpkin for carving or for pie!!
Bella Ridge is back with local apples and pears. There’s still some time to enjoy grapes and figs and ..Yes! Dates! Not to mention, Twin Peaks will be at the market starting this Sunday with organic persimmons, pomegranates and citrus.
Don’t Forget the Flowers!
Look for farmer inspired products like organic nut butters, almonds and walnuts. You will also find meats, cheeses, olive oil, wines, vinegar, dried fruits, olives, honey, herbal teas, jams, hot sauces and pesto, breads, pastries and other homemade treats are just some of what you will find at the market. The New Crop of Organic Almonds is here!!
