SFM Newsletter October 10th
Greetings All and Welcome!! We thank this farmers market community from the bottoms of our hearts! It’s the small random acts of kindness and the tremendous support of our incredible local sustainable farmers that really get us.. So, shop local farmers markets, shop often and be a part of a movement!
With mask recommendations still in place, please be sensitive to those in our community who are taking extra precautions. If you don’t have a mask, please give them space.
This week we honor the Pomo Dancers who traditionally join the market on the second Sunday of October but, are unable to this year. We ask you to please consider supporting their efforts. The Pomo Project https://www.facebook.com/PomoProject2021 We look forward to having them back in October of 2022!!
This Sunday, we are lucky to have special guests Remain in Light playing soulful funk music guaranteed to chase your blues away so you can get your groove on.
Veggie, herb and native plant starts are still available for consideration as you transition to a fall garden.
Don’t forget to bring your favorite kitchen and gardening tools. Edgeworks will be back at the market street side!!

You will also find meats, cheeses, olive oil, wines, vinegar, dried fruits, olives, honey, herbal teas, jams, hot sauces and pesto, breads, pastries and other homemade treats are just some of what you will find at the market. The New Crop of Organic Almonds is here!!
We really appreciate your continued support.. we are working hard to keep our market strong and our community programs going. Please consider donating. Special thanks for the donations that keep coming in through the market’s GoFundMe campaign. https://gf.me/u/x3svaq
Thank you for supporting your local small farmers especially now when they need you most. The drought and extreme temperatures have had a devastating impact. It’s important that we all do our part to save our most precious resources.. water, farmers and locally produced food.
In Deepest Gratitude we acknowledge the many blessings of gathering in community.
We can’t wait to see you this and every Sunday!
Carla
