The Gravensteins are here!! For those of you who have waited all year for the first signs of apple season and the return of the Gravensteins, the local antique apple variety..come celebrate with us. On stage this week, Avalanche will be at the market playing a country folk blues for a special Sunday treat.
Don’t forget to bring your favorite kitchen and gardening tools.. Edgeworks will be back streetside for your all of your sharpening needs.
It’s never too late to plant a garden.. there are still lots of veggie, herbs and native plant starts for your latest garden project. Succulents too!!
This Sunday’s locally produced veggie offerings include sweet corn, sweet and hot peppers, field cucumbers and heirloom tomatoes not to mention.. lettuces, microgreens, spinach, tot soi, bok choy, mustard greens, kales, collards, swiss chard, napa and other cabbages, salad radishes, turnips, carrots, beets, leeks, potatoes, mushrooms, broccolis, cauliflowers, green beans, red onions, green garlic, summer squashes, herbs and so much more…
Stone fruit season is in full swing!! with peaches, nectarines, sweet cherries , plums, pluots and for you berry lovers.. organic strawberries!! .. FIGS.. blackberries, mulberries, and melons too!! Red flame grapes!! And, yes! The Gravensteins are here!!
Don’t forget the Flowers!! Or a special treat from our local food and craft vendors.
Look for farmer inspired products like organic nut butters, almonds and walnuts. You will also find meats, cheeses, olive oil, wines, vinegar, dried fruits, olives, honey, herbal teas, jams, hot sauces and pesto, breads, pastries and other homemade treats are just some of what you will find at the market.
