Ok, by now most of you have noticed that I haven’t been at the market…

SFM Newsletter May 2nd
Dearest Farmers Market enthusiasts. Hard to believe we are just a week away from cherry season. Strawberries are already here!! You never know what you will find. With Mothers’ Day next Sunday, it’s the perfect time to find that special gift from market craft vendors or why not make Mothers’ Day all week long. Give Mom a break from the kitchen and find ingredients for her favorite dishes..breakfast, lunch and dinner!! For that special mother’s day week she will never forget!
Returning to the market this week.. please welcome Stony Point Strawberries, Red H Farm and Farm Sinclair. For those who have been asking.. Bodega Pastures is also hoping to be back at the market this Sunday. Hazel has been super busy but the sheep are all sheared! Fingers crossed!!
Although we are now in the Orange Tier .. mask and social distancing rules remain the same. We operate under the same guidelines as grocery stores. Please do your part and wear a mask.
An abundance of spring vegetables are here including lettuces, microgreens, spinach, tot soi, bok choy, mustard greens, kales, collards, swiss chard, napa and other cabbages, sunchokes, purple daikon radish, salad radishes, burdock root, turnips, carrots, beets, leeks, potatoes, mushrooms, broccolis, cauliflowers, herbs, asparagus, sugar snap peas, red onions, green garlic and so much more. New surprises arriving weekly.
Strawberry season starts is off to a great start!!.. don’t miss it!! And cherries by Mother’s Day! Not your thing? You still have time to load up on citrus for a while longer and YES! Dates are back!
There’s nothing like Spring Flowers!!
Look for farmer inspired products like organic nut butters, almonds and walnuts. You will also find meats, cheeses, olive oil, wines, vinegar, dried fruits, olives, honey, herbal teas, jams, hot sauces and pesto, breads, pastries and other homemade treats are just some of what you will find at the market.
We really appreciate your continued support.. we are working hard to keep our market strong and our community programs going. Please consider donating. Special thanks for the donations that keep coming in through the market’s GoFundMe campaign. https://gf.me/u/x3svaq
We love you, Sebastopol. Please wear your masks and socially distance at all times. All food and drink is to go. There is no eating or drinking inside the market. If you are sick, please stay home.
In deepest gratitude,
Carla
