SFM Newsletter April 18th

Hello Farmers Market supporters and earth lovers one and all!!!  We really appreciate your commitment to shop the farmers market Sundays.  Buy from a small sustainable farmer, get healthy and help save the planet!  Yes!  The farmers market is a great place to start!  Plus.. we’ve got what you need to get a head start on your summer garden!! Get your veggie and herb starts here!!

 

Back at the market this week.. please welcome  Terra Savia organic wines and olive oils, Bodega Pastures and Bloomfields.  And.. Welcome back Caiti from Red H Farm!!

 

Although we are now in the Orange Tier .. mask and social distancing rules remain the same. We operate under the same guidelines as grocery stores. Please do your part and wear a mask.

 

Get ready for the best fruits and vegetables on the planet including lettuces, microgreens, spinach, tot soi, bok choy, mustard greens, kales, collards, swiss chard, cabbages, sunchokes, purple daikon radish, salad radishes, burdock root, turnips, carrots, beets, onions, shallots, leeks, potatoes, mushrooms, broccolis, cauliflowers, herbs, asparagus and so much more.  New surprises arriving weekly.  Be prepared to be amazed!!

 

Citrus is here for a while longer but, it will be gone before you know it.. enjoy the most delicious tangerines, lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits while you can.  And DATES! Strawberries will be here next week!

 

Don’t forget the spring FLOWER bouquets for your sweetie!!

 

Look for farmer inspired products like organic nut butters, almonds and walnuts.  You will also find meats, cheeses, olive oil, wines, vinegar, dried fruits, olives, honey, herbal teas, jams, hot sauces and pesto, breads, pastries and other homemade treats are just some of what you will find at the market.
