SFM Newsletter January 10, 2021

Hey there.. thinking about that New Year’s resolution? Get healthier, be more grateful, get more involved in your community, volunteer more.. come to the market this Sunday to find the inspiration you need to get 2021 off to a great start.  Just look at all of those amazing farm fresh delicious fruits and vegetables from local small farmers, the most interesting group of people you would ever want to meet.  Rain or shine, you are there for us and for that we are deeply grateful.

Back at the market this week.. Terra Savia organic wines and olive oils, Dominique’s Sweets, Raymond’s Bakery, craft vendors and more..

Shop the market’s online store.  We are a little slow to recover from the holidays so our cupboards aren’t as full as usual.. but, watch for new items as we get closer and closer to spring… Earth Medicine, Revolution Bread, Bodega Pasture wool products and Cirque Du Ferments sauerkrauts, jun kombuchas and other ferments.  Just a few of the vendors you will find.  The online store is open until 3p Saturday for curbside pickup 11a-1:30p on Sunday.  www.sebastopolfarmmarket.org.

Let’s do this Sebastopol!! Shop the market for the most incredibly healthy delicious hearty nutritious nutrient dense farm fresh veggies including lettuces, microgreens, spinach, tot soi, bok choy, mustard greens, kales, collards, swiss chard, cabbages, sunchokes,  purple daikon radish, burdock root, turnips, carrots, beets, onions, shallots, leeks, potatoes, mushrooms, broccolis, cauliflowers, winter squashes, herbs and so much more.

Citrus season continues!!  tangerines, limes, oranges, grapefruits, grapes, persimmons, and pomegranates!!  And YES!  Dates are back!!

Look for farmer inspired products like organic nut butters, almonds and red and English walnuts.  You will also find meats, cheeses, olive oil, vinegar, dried fruits, olives, honey, herbal teas, jams, hot sauces and pesto, breads, pastries and other homemade treats are just some of what you will find at the market.

Now that we’re in the winter season, we are working hard to keep our market strong and our community programs going.  Please consider donating.  Special thanks for the donations that keep coming in through the market’s GoFundMe campaign.  https://gf.me/u/x3svaq

We love you, Sebastopol. Please wear your masks and socially distance at all times.  All food and drink is to go.  There is no eating or drinking inside the market.  If you are sick, please stay home.

Stay safe, stay strong!

Carla
