Ok, by now most of you have noticed that I haven’t been at the market…

SFM Newsletter May 3rd
Hey there, Sebastopol.. how are you holding up? Has shelter in place got you singing the blues? Right there with you!!
Happy to have the sunshine summery weather and time to work in the garden. So very grateful for all of you, our loyal supporters! We look forward to seeing you this Sunday. We do hope that you will consider coming after 11a to avoid crowding and lines. We are monitoring the market traffic and will limit the number of people in the market when necessary. Please remember to wear your face covering at the market. It is mandatory.
We are very excited to announce that our online farmers market store will be going live next week for a much anticipated curbside option. Stay tuned and check our website and facebook page for details. Look for the online store to continue to evolve and grow over the weeks.
At the market this week you will find plenty of veggie offerings from lettuces to microgreen, arugula, spinach, mustard greens, kales, chards, collards, beets, carrots, rutabagas, potatoes, red onions, scallions, green garlic, asparagus, snap peas, radishes, turnips, herbs and YES! hothouse tomatoes and cucumbers.
It’s Strawberry season!! YUM! Citrus is still abundant at the market with tangerines, oranges, lemons and grapefruit. And organic DATES!!
The Peach Farm is back! Be sure not to miss Ed’s hot house tomatoes and cucumbers, Ramini Buffalo cheese, New Carpati mushrooms and other farmers and food vendors in the plaza. We are doing our best to be creative with space to keep everyone safe.
Thank you all for doing your part to keep the market a safe place to shop.
With much gratitude.
Carla
