Ok, by now most of you have noticed that I haven’t been at the market…

SFM Newsletter April 26th
Dearest Sebastopol Farmers Market Community. The weather has been amazing. I hope you all have been enjoying the virtual Earth Day Celebrations that have been happening throughout this past week or maybe you have been inspired to work in your garden, and have been getting to know your neighbors from a distance or working on a future Earth project or community vision.
You might have noticed that the market is starting to grow with farmers and vendors returning weekly. Make sure not to miss the vendors in the plaza. Pure Puer and other favorites will be back in their usual spot!
Vegetables this week include.. lettuces, microgreens, spinach, arugula, kales, chard, collards, mustard greens, radishes, turnips, carrots, sugar snap peas, rutabagas, celeriac, potatoes, onions, shallots, scallions and green garlic, mushrooms, cauliflowers, broccolis, cabbages, herbs and so much more..
(but wait..don’t forget your veggie and herb starts!!)
And YES..there’s more citrus.. and not to mention organic STRAWBERRIES are now in season!!
Look for farmer inspired products like olives, olive oil, nuts and nut butters, eggs, pestos, pastas, hot sauces, breads and other tasty treats.
Unfortunately, we will have to cancel the upcoming herbal and wellness fairs. We hope to reschedule for the fall. Stay tuned :)
Thank you for helping us keep the market open by complying with CDC regulations as we continue to work together to make the market as safe as possible.
Remember face coverings are mandatory.
We look forward to seeing each and every one of you this coming Sunday.
Stay Healthy Sebastopol. Thank you for making the farmers market a part of your weekly feel good routine.
In gratitude.
Carla
