Ok, by now most of you have noticed that I haven’t been at the market…

SFM Newsletter April 5th
Dearest Sebastopol Farmers Market family. Thank you for your continued support during these challenging times. We want you to know that we will continue to do our best to ensure that the market is a safe place to shop by following CDC guidelines for 6 feet distancing, wash stations throughout the market and sanitizer and gloves at the info booth but, we need your help. Where else can you get fresh picked nutritionally dense, local produce and products.
Please let us serve you. We will be set up as a full service market. Farmers and vendors are the only ones who will be touching your purchases. Please let them know what you would like and they will happily get it for you. We suggest you come prepared with a list. Please make sure you practice physical distancing when you’re in line and say ‘hi’ to the person behind or in front of you and before you know it, it will be your turn. :)
Please remember to be kind to each other. Think of this as a lesson in physical distancing not social distancing. Here’s the hard part.. no hugs please. :(
Need assistance in making your market purchases? In the near future, we will offer curbside service…stay tuned. We hope to make the market accessible to everyone.
Veggie offerings this week include an amazing array of locally grown, nutrient dense vegetables including lettuces, arugula, spinach, kales, mustard greens, collards, chard, savoy, napa, green and red cabbages, onions, shallots, garlic, beets, radishes, carrots, potatoes, rutabagas, burdock root, mushrooms, cauliflowers and broccolis, ASPARAGUS, HERBS and so much more.. did you know that at the market we have thyme, rosemary, mint, and sage available to make an anti-viral tea? And lemons too.. who knew?
Get your vitamin C. Citrus is still in abundance with a variety of oranges, tangerines grapefruit, lemons and limes. Organic strawberries will be back at the market in the next week or so!
It’s a great time to plant a garden. You will find vegetable and herb starts for your Spring garden at the market. So, what are you waiting for.. :)
Make sure to look for farmer inspired products including nuts and nut butters, meats, cheeses, olive oil, herbal teas, hot sauces, breads, pastries and pastas, olives, preserves and other homemade treats.
Coming soon..

We love you Sebastopol and wish you all peace, health and happiness.
