SFM Newsletter March 29th

Hello Sebastopol Farmers Market Community.  We hope this finds you well and happy.

We will indeed be open this coming Sunday in compliance with the state ordinance that deems farmers markets as an essential service.  We will, however, have stricter rules and guidelines in place to keep customers as safe as possible.  Please remember to practice social distancing, even when in line.  There will be wash stations in and around the market and sanitizer and gloves available at the info booth.  We love our community and look forward to seeing you but, please, if you are sick, stay home!  And please be kind.

For your safety and the safety of our community, we will be offering a full service shopping experience.  Farmers and vendors will all have gloves and will help you with your purchases so that you can relax and be assured that your produce has been spared from a life of sometimes not so gentle hands touching, squeezing and bruising that cauliflower you’ve had your eye on. One at a time please.  I know that this may seem a bit of an inconvenience for some but, we sincerely hope that you appreciate the care that went into making sure you have the cleanest, most delicious, nutrient food around.  Farm direct to you :)  Enjoy this hands free experience.

Need assistance in making your market purchases?  In the near future, we will offer curbside service…stay tuned.  We hope to make the market accessible to everyone.

Veggie offerings this week include an incredible rainbow of locally grown, nutrient dense vegetables including lettuces, arugula, spinach, kales, mustard greens, collards, chard, savoy, napa, green and red cabbages, onions, shallots, garlic, beets, carrots, potatoes, rutabagas, mushrooms, cauliflowers and broccolis, ASPARAGUS, HERBS and so much more..

Get your vitamin C.  Citrus is still in abundance with a variety of oranges, tangerines grapefruit, lemons and limes.  Strawberries are just weeks away..so, stay tuned.

Coming soon..

In deepest gratitude for your continued support.  We look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

Thank you for taking all the necessary precautions to keep you and this community safe.  Remember foremost to be extra kind to everyone.  We might have to practice social distancing but that doesn’t mean we can’t share a smile or a friendly greeting.

We’re all in this together. Keep Positive. Stay Healthy.  And Eat Your Vegetables!!! :0)
