Hello and welcome one and all to the Sebastopol Farmers’ Market. Why shop the farmers’ market? you might ask.. Where else can you get the best of what Sonoma County has to offer including newly harvested farm fresh vibrant produce, incredible farmer inspired foods, one of a kind crafts and plenty of entertainment both on and off stage. :) There is indeed, something for everyone.
It’s that time of the year again. Just when you started to love the early morning sunrise, it’s time to shift to the later sunsets.. Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead, you won’t want to miss a single moment.
This week, local favorite, guitarist, Doug Cross will take the stage.
This Sunday’s produce offerings include.. lettuces, spinach, arugula, microgreens, pea shoots, mustard and fava greens, kales, collards, chard, radishes, green onion, mushrooms, carrots, beets, rutabaga, potatoes, burdock root, savoy, napa, red and green cabbages, cauliflowers, broccolis, winter squashes, onions, garlic, herbs and so much more..
All that is citrus continues to be at the market this Sunday. Enjoy sweet tangerines, Washington, cara cara, blood, and Valencia oranges, oro blanco, grapefruit, lemons and limes.
And don’t forget ..organic DATES are back!!!
Look for veggie and herb starts for your Spring garden. Don’t have room? Or time? Try buckwheat microgreens or an herb box on your window sill :)
Don’t forget the flowers!!!
Make sure to look for farmer inspired products including nuts and nut butters, meats, cheeses, olive oil, herbal teas, hot sauces, breads, pastries and pastas, olives, preserves and other homemade treats.
