SFM Newsletter February 23rd

Greetings Sebastopol Farmers’ Market Friends and Family. We welcome you to join us for another beautiful farmers’ market Sunday. It’s the end of February and signs of spring are everywhere. Make sure to get a head start on your garden. Get your cool weather veggie and herb starts here!! You will find beautiful seedlings ready to plant at Nature Spirits, Triple T and yes! La Vida Buena is back at the market starting this Sunday. Want to grow a garden but, don’t have the space? Plant in pots!! You can have balcony or patio garden or a window sill herb garden! :)

On stage this week playing Peruvian folk music please welcome Kayzak.

Market veggie offerings this week include lettuces, spinach, arugula, microgreens, pea shoots, mustard greens, kales, collards, chard, bok choy, dandelion greens, Napa, savoy and red and green cabbages, broccolis, cauliflowers, carrots, beets, parships, rutabagas, potatoes, onions, shallots, winter squashes, garlic, herbs and so much more…

It’s about everything citrus at the market with oranges, grapefruits, pomelos, tangerines, lemons and limes. Look for delicious local citrus orange varietals at Armstrong Valley.
And yes!! Jewell Dates will be at the market with organic date varietals.

Look for farmer inspired products including nuts and nut butters, meats, cheeses, olive oil, herbal teas, hot sauces, breads, pastries and pastas, olives, preserves and other homemade treats.
