SFM Newsletter March 21st

I hope you all are enjoyed this week’s early spring showers and have by now adjusted to the time change.  We welcome you back for a springtime celebration this Sunday, at the market appreciating with gratitude, everything green and amazing spring flowers too!!

Want to show your community how much you care?  As we move into the Red Tier, mask and social distancing rules remain the same. Please do your part and wear a mask.

Back at the market this week.. please welcome Beet Generation pasta!! And new this week Tienda Salsita will be joining us.  Don’t forget to check out the craft vendors for that special something.. after all deserve it.

Look for a rainbow of lettuces, microgreens, spinach, tot soi, bok choy, mustard greens, kales, collards, swiss chard, cabbages, sunchokes, purple daikon radish, salad radishes, burdock root, turnips, carrots, beets, onions, shallots, leeks, potatoes, mushrooms, broccolis, cauliflowers, winter squashes, herbs, asparagus and so much more.  New surprises arriving weekly.

Citrus is here for a while longer but, it will be gone before you know it.. enjoy the most delicious tangerines, lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits while you can.  And, yes!! it’s Date week!!

Don’t forget the beautiful FLOWERS and amazing plant starts for your garden!!!

Look for farmer inspired products like organic nut butters, almonds and walnuts.  You will also find meats, cheeses, olive oil, wines, vinegar, dried fruits, olives, honey, herbal teas, jams, hot sauces and pesto, breads, pastries and other homemade treats are just some of what you will find at the market.
